The Glynn

Welcome to The Glynn, a serene oasis nestled among the ridges. Here the headwaters of our charming springs create a tranquil spring run into the pond. Tall canopy trees provide a perfect habitat for shade-loving plants, creating a refreshing microclimate, where summer can be a delightful 10 degrees cooler. Explore this peaceful retreat and discover the beauty of nature in every corner.

Foo Dog Garden

Welcome to this serene garden, where the entrance is adorned with a pair of majestic guardian statues known as Foo Dogs. The male, symbolizing yang with a ball under his paw, stands strong alongside the female, representing yin. Together, they face outward, protecting this tranquil space from negative energy while inviting good fortune. Take a moment to relax your mind and body in the positive energy  of nature.

Ginkgo Garden

Welcome to the stunning garden designed by Master Gardener Jacquie Petrovich! Here, you'll discover a diverse collection of Bromeliads, each with its unique charm. At the heart of the garden stands a young Ginkgo biloba tree, a beautiful gymnosperm tree native to East Asia. Take a moment to relax in the sitting area, where you can immerse yourself in the soothing sounds of nature.

The Food Forest

The Food Forest, a work in progress, is an innovative sustainable system that will combine edible trees, shrubs, herbs, roots to create a thriving ecosystem. This multi-layered design mimics a natural woodland, promoting food production while enhancing soil health and water retention. Plants are typically perennials and self-seeding. Techniques like chop and drop and mulching are used to support natural regeneration. Experience the benefits of a food forest, where nature and nourishment go hand in hand.
